Progress!

July 31, 2010: Since July 1st I have officially lost 20 lbs!!! Overall, I have lost 28 lbs as I had lost 8 lbs since my heaviest weight. I didn't start to track my weight loss journey until July 1st. I have a long way to go, but each day I get closer. Wow... the differences are becoming apparent. I can sleep without having to prop my self up on pillows; I can lay flat with only my couple of pillows... like a regular person! I can roll onto my side, I can sleep without having to wake up and take a Zantac. I can actually feel a difference. If this is what 20 (28) lbs feels like, I wonder what 40 (48) lbs will feel like! I'm back in my wheelchair due to a tendon problem after my last cortisone shot, but once this settles down, I'll be moving more and getting closer. I can only dream of the day where I can buy my clothes in a regular store, not a Pennington’s or an Additional. I am tired of having to go to the plus sizes, or the sizes that are creatively coined as "real women", "image", "full-figured" or
"Specialty". I want to walk into a regular store or boutique and select a medium... that's all, just an everyday, regular old medium. What a lovely feeling that must be. One day!!!

July 23, 2010: Lost 5 more pounds, total loss since July 1st is 15 pounds, total overall loss from heaviest weight is 23 pounds. So... the 15 pounds in 23 days, that's about 1/2 a pound a day, about 5 pounds a week. Not too bad considering my only exercise has been walking on the weekends!
July 13th, 2010: Lost 10 lbs!! I have a long way to go, but this is a great first step!

July 1, 2010: First weigh in, this is not good. A very long way to go. Setting a 1 year goal to lose half of my current body weight. (told you it wasn't good)
